Edit City NameDecide how your city will be called Cities StatusFrom here you will decide whether the city is a parent city, a rival city etc. City's Nationality Determine the nationality of your city(Greek, Persian, Amazon etc. City's Activity Determine whether a city is active or inactive. Especially important for colonies. If you want a colony to be available for settling, you should choose "inactive"! City's NumberThis is especially important for future events, such as requests, status's changes, invasions etc. City's Feelings Determine if a city is a rival, vassal, etc. Tribute
From here, if you choose a city to be a vassal, you will have to decide whether it is paying a tribute or not. Receive Tribute This option is for the tributr YOU will have to pay to this city if it conquers you. Tribute Paying This is the amount YOU will receive if you conquer this city. The tab next to it, determines the product you want to receive. Military Strength This determines how strong this city is. Military strength of 6 equals invincibility. To change that, you should script a Military Decline Event from the Events Screen. The Buy/Sell PanelThis gives you the option to choose what a city sells and buys. Click on the big squares to determine the product, and then on the small rectangles to determine the quantity.
Hide/Show Trade RoutesThis is a great option, especially if you have a lot of cities. I think you should defenitely use it!
